November 4, 2015

Appalachian State Mountaineers                                                                            photo courtesy AppStateSports

After weeks of wallowing in mediocrity, Lisa finally rose up from the ruins and nailed eight of 10 picks.

It's time to continue the good karma.

My picks are in bold.

Northern Illinois +7.5 at Toledo

Both teams are capable of putting a lot of points up on the board but NIU has been more battle tested. The Huskies cover.

Ohio +20.5 at Bowling Green

I think this game will be closer than the oddsmakers think. In fact, let's put Bowling Green on upset alert.

Appalachian State -11.5 v Arkansas State

This game will be a fun game if you like plenty of offense but the defense is what is going to be the difference maker. The Mountaineers will get some stops against the Red Wolves.

USC -17.5 v Arizona

The Wildcats lost 49-3 to Washington on Saturday. Meanwhile, USC is rolling with back-to-back wins. USC wins by three touchdowns.

Florida State +12.5 at Clemson

I do not trust Clemson's defense despite the hype it receives. I also think Florida State is underrated. This contest is too close to call.

Iowa -6.5 v Indana

The Hoosiers rise up to the level of their competition so Iowa may struggle to put Indana away. But one touchdown is not too much to ask for and thus, I'm going with Iowa.

Michigan State -4.5 at Nebraska

The Cornhuskers are imploding. When Sparty implodes, it still finds a way to win. Spartans cover and Nebraska fans continue to suffer.

LSU +6.5 at Alabama

Leonard Fournette will have his Heisman moment in Tuscaloosa. Run, Leonard, run.

Western Kentucky +24.5 v Florida Atlantic

The Owls' two wins are against Charlotte and FIU. The Hilltoppers, on the other hand, have only two losses, both to Power 5 teams.
