College Football Pick 'ems: Lisa's Picks for Week Seven

October 17, 2015

Another week is in the books. Another lackluster performance by yours truly. Maybe I should stay away from the Group of Five. I only picked five teams correctly bringing the season's total to 28-of-60.

This week I am going in a different direction. Let's see if picking (mostly) dogs and the Arizona Cardinals works.

As always, Pigskin Grind is not a tout service and is not liable for any monetary gains or losses incurred by one who wagers these picks. These selections are for entertainment purposes only.

Picks are in bold.

Texas A&M +4.5 v Alabama

In a close game, pick the dog. I don't think the Aggies are getting enough respect. I also don't think the Tide's defense will be able to contain the Aggies' offense. Take the points.

USC +6.5 at Notre Dame

USC will come out with its hair on fire. It's a big rivalry game and USC is embarrassed over its performance against Washington. USC wins big. Take the points.

Michigan State +7.5 at Michigan

Spartans' defense is very good. So is Michigan's.  The Wolverines have shut out three consecutive opponents and stayed with Utah in the season opener. I think Michigan wins but doesn't cover. Take the points.

Iowa -.5 at Northwestern

I still maintain that the Hawkeyes are the most underrated team in the country. Riding the Iowa freight train for another week! Lay the points.

Memphis +10.5 v Ole Miss

I like Rebels' offense but I think the Tigers' offense will give Ole Miss fits. It's just not a typical SEC offense and that could be problematic. Ole Miss probably wins, but Memphis definitely covers. Take the points.

Oregon +1.5 at Washington

The Ducks cannot lose again, can they? Meanwhile, how hungover are the Huskies after that win over USC? Take the points.

Air Force -1.5 at Colorado State

I love these fly boys, especially on the road in-state. My dad was an Air Force captain so yeah, I'm taking the Falcons. Lay the points.

Texas Tech -31.5 at Kansas

Kansas football is officially unwatchable. The Red Raiders may have the spread covered by the half. Lay those points.

Utah - 6.5 v Arizona State

The Utes are on a roll. There is no way Coach Whittingham doesn't have this team pumped up for the Sun Devils. Especially at home. Lay the points.

Arizona Cardinals -3.5 at Pittsburgh

I was high on the Cardinals last week and even higher this week—Big Ben will not be playing. Lay the points.
