Pigskin Grind went 6-of-10 last week and is 45-of-80 for the season. The last three weeks have not been kind but the match-ups this week are much better. In other words, look for a big score this week.

As always, good luck.

Arizona +4.5 at UCLA

Arizona is 3-0 on the road including a win over Oregon on October 2. This is a homecoming game for UCLA but will the fans show up after the Bruins had to go into overtime to beat Colorado last week? UPSET ALERT. Take the points and Arizona.

Utah +4.5 at Arizona State

Whichever team keeps his quarterback upright has the edge. A special teams play will likely determine the winner and Utah has the best special teams in the country. Take the points and Utah.

Louisville +4.5 v Florida State

I'm not totally sold on Florida State, especially with another distraction popping up this week. The Cardinals aren't the same without quarterback Teddy Bridgewater but their defense is superb. Take the points and Louisville.

Texas State -7.5 v New Mexico State

It's not that I have a lot of confidence in the Texas State Bobcats. It's simply that I have no confidence in New Mexico State. Some teams you bet against just because they are not very reliable. The Aggies are one of those teams. Lay the points and take Texas State.

Auburn +2.5 Ole Miss

The Rebels lost to LSU 10-7.  Auburn spanked LSU 41-7. True, Ole Miss played on the road and Auburn did not, but that home field advantage does not account for a 31-point difference. Ole Miss is still getting too much respect in the polls. Auburn deserves more respect. Take the points and Auburn.

Arkansas +10.5 Mississippi State

Arkansas is probably a year away from making a lot of noise in the SEC but it still is a dangerous team. The Razorbacks can score a lot of points so they'll keep the score close. Take the points and Arkansas.

USC -6.5 at Washington State

USC is very frustrated after three heartbreaking losses so expect Sarkisian to open up the playbook and throw everything at Washington State. The Trojans should exact revenge on the Cougars from last year's loss at the Coliseum. Lay the points and take USC.

Stanford +9.5 at Oregon

Is it a coincidence that the Stanford Cardinal finally found their missing offense a week before playing Oregon? Probably not. Meanwhile, the Cardinal's defense remains one of the best in the country and has stifled the Ducks two years in a row. Oregon's defense is suspect against power running teams. The Ducks' O-line is also going to have a difficult day against the Cardinal rush. Take the points and Stanford.

Kansas State -14.5  v Oklahoma State

I had Kansas State and TCU as my sleeper teams of the season and so far, they look terrific. The Wildcats' offense seems to be improving every week. I'm a believer in head coach Bill Snyder and while I respect Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy, this is definitely a rebuilding year for his team. Lay the points and take Kansas State.

Iowa State +16.5 v Oklahoma

The Sooners win but Iowa State will put up a good fight and keep it close. The Sooners looked like world beaters in September but in October they are 1-2. The Cyclones know the Sooners are beatable and while they won't win this one, they'll be playing like they believe they can win. Take the points and Iowa State.
